Pinconning Central student art on display in Lansing

LANSING, Mich.—Sen. Mike Green’s office is the new home to an impressive art collection from the students of Pinconning Central Elementary.

“These great pieces of art produced by the talented students at Pinconning Central have impressed visitors to my Capitol office,” said Green, R-Mayville. “I’m grateful for their hard work and proud to show off their skill to state leaders, district constituents and my fellow legislators.”

The art consists of works by the students of first-grade teachers Urbanik, Salgat, and Johnstone of Pinconning Central and has been on display in the senator’s office since the beginning of March.

Showcasing student art is part of Green's "Kids of the 31st!" program which positively highlights school age kids from throughout his district.
